Course Description
Multiservice Data Manager (MDM) Administration provides 5 days of theory and hands on lab exercises that explain and reinforce the administrative tasks required to maintain the operational status of a Multiservice Data Manager workstation. Students will be given the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team.
Day five of the training will consist of two major practicum tasks; task one will be an independent or partner task requiring students to install and configure the MDM software from a Greenfield build. This task will reinforce labs that were completed throughout the course. The second task on Day 5 is a group task. Students will be presented with a realistic deployment scenario focusing on Regionalized Fault Management.
The class will be presented with a realistic deployment solution for the scenario which they will implement using six workstations. The class will also be challenged to find and present a better deployment solution for the given realistic scenario. The day concludes with students being given a best solution for the given realistic scenario.
