Course Description
The purpose of this course is to provide information on designing and engineering Nortel Application Server 5300 (AS 5300) systems.
You will learn strategies for planning and implementing an AS 5300 solution. Through hands-in practice, you will have the opportunity to use Enterprise Configurator to create a quote for an AS 5300 system.
The AS 5300 system is a SIP-based (Session Initiation Protocol) service platform designed for the Enterprise market that requires secure operations. It provides next generation location-independent communication services over standard Internet Protocol (IP) networks.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please download and complete the first module of the Student Guide (Introduction to AS 5300) on your own prior to the course. This content will not be covered by the instructor, but the material will be included in the final exam.
DELIVERY METHOD This course is delivered as Hands-in eLearning. Hands-in eLearning is delivered online and facilitated in real time by an instructor. Through the use of cutting-edge 'uConnect' software, students can also complete exercises on working Nortel equipment from their own location. The benefits of Hands-in eLearning include:
- You avoid travel and living expenses by completing this eLearning at your home, office, or a designated PC lab.
- eLearning can be completed from any location in the world that has Internet access.
