Nortel recognizes the following third-party certifications as satisfying the Nortel certification requirements associated with the Nortel technology exam pre-requisites:

920-806, Nortel Advanced Data Networking Technology	Expert	Cisco CCIE - Routing & Switching Cisco CCNP

Individuals who hold one of the above third-party certifications may request prerequisite credit required for achieving certain Nortel Product Certifications. Only credit for the technology prerequisite will be granted, after the individual has challenged the required Nortel certification product exam. The third-party certification must be active at the time the Nortel product exam is completed.

Note that holding the above listed certifications will not be deemed as having met the requirements for achieving the Nortel Technology Specialist (NCTS) or Nortel Technology Expert (NCTE) certifications.

The Nortel Certification team will work with individuals to confirm their third-party certification and provide credit toward the appropriate Nortel Product Certification Designation. Proof of one of the third-party certifications and the Prometric Testing ID used with the previously challenged Nortel Certification product exam is required.
